I am a Ph.D. student in the School of Computer Science at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), advised by Prof. Yangming Guo. My research interests include computer vision, whole-body pose estimation, diffusion models, and machine learning.

Previously, I received my B.Eng. in Computer Science and Technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2023. I am broadly interested in building robust visual understanding systems for challenging real-world scenes.

CIGPose: Causal Intervention Graph Neural Network for Whole-Body Pose Estimation

Bohao Li, Zhicheng Cao, Huixian Li, Yangming Guo

arXiv / GitHub

  • CIGPose treats visual context as a confounder in whole-body pose estimation and uses causal intervention to recover context-invariant keypoint representations.
  • The framework combines deconfounded keypoint embeddings with hierarchical graph reasoning to produce more anatomically plausible poses in challenging scenes.
  • On COCO-WholeBody, CIGPose-x reaches 67.0 AP without extra training data and 67.5 AP with the additional UBody dataset.
